Biography
Morgan has been an answer to prayer from the very beginning. She is our only girl. We noticed at the age of eight, she started having numerous nose, ear & throat infections, plus we often found her taking long naps during the day. After many trips to the doctor, we decided to have her eyes checked. He found an inflamed optic nerve. This led us to Cook Children's where we had Morgan's first brain tumor removal - March 2009. Her tumor is called an epedymoma -Stage II. It was a 10 hour surgery with the tumor the size of a baseball. As soon as she recovered from surgery, Morgan received radiation 31 days. She was clear for 2010. Her tumor returned in 2011, she had surgery in July. We discovered another tumor in March 2012. So, to try and gather any leftover residue, Morgan had a frontal lobe removal. Her MRI showed in July, the tumor was growing again. With this news, the doctors recommended her for a drug trial. We currently await the results for our next plan of action! We are thanking the Lord daily for Morgan and all the sweet blessings He provides!When you sign up to stitch for Love Quilts you will get a confirmation of your sign up.
