Biography
Jeremy was born with Sturge-Weber Syndrome which presents with his
Port Wine Stain on the right side of his face. He has seizures,Glaucoma, & ADHD
that he lives with daily. He has been hospitalized four times for over a week by
the age of three to get his seizures under control. He also had his first Eye
surgery at 3 months old to place a stint in his right eye to help lower the
pressure.He also has laser surgery every 12 weeks from the age of two years to
help lighten his Port Wine stain as well as keep nodules from forming. We call
it a "mini-face lift".
He is heading back into surgery for another Glaucoma surgery because he stint is
currently failing after all these years. His eye pressure is so high now he is
considered legally blind in his right eye.His new Service Dog in training Banyan
will one day become his Medic alert/Guide dog. Jeremy has no depth perception at
all so getting up & down stairs is quite a challenge.
Jeremy takes 3 different eye drops twice a day for his Glaucoma. He also takes
seizure medication 2 times a day in hopes of keeping the seizures well
controlled. On top of that our angel has ADHD & several learning disabilities.He
takes medication for his ADHD and attends a self-contained classroom for school
which he loves. His Sturge-Weber will never go away & is listed on the rare
disease list. We can only help Jeremy improve his life with learning life skills
for the future.

Once you find a pattern that you want to stitch and have confirmed it is not already being stitched you may return to the sign up form, fill it in and submit it. We received our quilt & pillow today. It is so beautiful words can't express how excited Jeremy was when he opened the box. I never dreamed it would be so large and it's just perfect! He absolutely loves the backing fabric with the paw prints. His room is painted a shade if green so he is excited it matches. Please pass along our gratitude to every one in the organization.
