Biography
Hailey was born on march 2nd 2010. She has been the light of my life. She always seemed healthy up until Christmas eve of 2011. We were out christmas
shopping and Hailey begun throwing up (thought it was just a stomach bug).
Finally the day after christmas I took her in to the Dr. That is when he felt
she should be admitted to the hospital for dehydration. Few days later things
took a turn for the worst.
Hailey became very lethargic and vomitting got worse. On New Years eve they
decided to do a CT scan. That is when they found Hailey has a significant amount
of pressure on her brain. At that point they did an emergancy surgery to get the
pressure off. Then they air vaced her to Phoenix to have surgery to remove the
tumor.
January 2ND 2012 Hailey underwent a 6 hour surgery to remove what they could.
Unfortunatly they were unable to get all the tumor due to its location (the
brain stem). They got aproximately 90% of the tumor. Hailey has had to have
multiple surgeries since (many shunt revisions as well as a port placement-for
chemo). Hailey will be going through chemo for atleast the next year. Hailey is
doing really well with chemo. Hailey also goes through several therapy
appointments as she is learning how to walk again.
When you sign up to stitch for Love Quilts you will get a confirmation of your sign up. If your pattern is a duplicate you will be asked to pick another pattern.

Once there click on the link "database" on the right to view the children and their patterns. Once you find a pattern that you want to stitch and have confirmed it is not already being stitched you may return to the sign up form, fill it in and submit it.
