Biography
Brody as most of you know was born almost 6 weeks early. He has had a
rough go of it form the start. From 7 days old he has had reoccuring upper
respritory infections, the docs diagnosed it as asthma. He has been seen by
genetic doctors since he was about 6 months old. He has been tested for
everything under the sun. We started with Cystic Fibrosis, then metabolic
disorders, then they looked at kidneys, spleen, liver, and all other organs but
the heart. About a year ago I just really got the impression that his heart was
the problem. The doctors didn't think so. I kept asking them to look at his
heart, but they wouldn't. Finally I just called a cardiologist myself and made a
appointment. The cardiologist diagnosed him with Dialated Cardiomyopathy. I
didn't feel comfortable with that diagnosis for some reason. So I went to the
childrens cardiomyopathy website and they directed me to Dr Boucek at Childrens
in Seattle. He did his own echo and that is when he found the
Left Ventricular Noncompaction. I love Children. They are so amazing, and
helpful. My favorite part is that they tell it like it is. Whether you are the
child or the parent. Brody is now 3. It has been a long road to figure out what
he had. I know it is because of the power of prayer that Brody was able to get
properly diagnosed. I am so greatful to my Heavenly Father for that everyday. I
know He is there and listens to our pleas. I know that Heavenly Father has a
greater plan for all of us, sometimes we may not understand it, but in the end
we will see that it was best. I am thankful for all of your continued support
and prayers.

Once you find a pattern that you want to stitch and have confirmed it is not already being stitched you may return to the sign up form, fill it in and submit it.
